Windber Borough Is Taking Bids for Old Train Station Air Conditioning Sealed proposals will be received by the Borough of Windber of Somerset County Pennsylvania in the Borough office at 1409 Somerset Avenue, Windber, PA. 15963 until 4:00 PM on September 21, 2010 for the replacement of the existing air conditioning system at the “Train Station” building located at 1401 Graham Ave. in Windber, PA.   The conditioned space consists of approximately 2700 square feet on one floor.  Specifications may be picked up in the Borough Office at the above address Monday thru Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM.  Bid opening is scheduled for September 21, 2010 at 7 PM during the Council meeting.   Proposals must be submitted on forms supplied by the Borough and enclosed in a sealed envelope marked “Train Station Air Conditioning.” The bid must be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of 10 % of the bid amount payable to Windber Borough.   Borough Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids.   Halloween Activities Schedule: Trick or Treat Night: For Windber Borough, Paint Township & Scalp Level October 28th, 2010 From 6-8pm    Halloween Parade: To Be Announced *Call Fire Dept. for Registration @ 467-7111
